Exam-Day Instructions (in-person or remote administrations):
- Be prepared: Students should download the exam file the night before exam day. Contact your professor with any questions. Anti-virus applications may effect Examplify performance during exams. When taking a secure exam, disable your antivirus software before starting an exam & re-enable it after exiting your exam.
- On Exam Day: Your professor will always provide you with the necessary passwords to start your exam on exam-day. After completing your exam, it is the student's responsibility to ensure you've received the green “Upload Complete” confirmation message.
- Laptop freeze mid-exam? If your laptop freezes while taking an exam in Examplify, perform a hard reset (turn your machine off then turn it back on). You will be returned to Examplify. You may also be prompted for a Universal Resume Code. (If in-person exam: Ask your proctor. If Online Exam: Your instructor will have already provided you with the Universal Resume Code).
- If you experience any issues during your exam, alert your instructor. You may also contact ExamSoft’s Student Support Line if there is a major technical issue at 1-866-429-8889.
