Examsoft Examplify – Installation

Examplify should be downloaded from the internet and installed at the beginning of each autumn/spring term and updated when appropriate.

Instructions for Exam Day: Pre-Exam

• Arrive at least 20 minutes before your exam start-time to set up your computer.
• Your computer should be connected to the "Eduroam" Wi-Fi.
• Remember your laptop external power supply; connect to your laptop and to power.
• Disabling Anti-Virus Software

Instructions for Exam Day: Post-Exam

Upon finishing your exam, your computer will return to a normal state (unlocked and re-connected to Wi-Fi), at which point you can upload your finished exam to Examsoft.

• Check-in and turn in testing materials to Law Student Services (LAW 183) before leaving the exam area.
• If LawIT is running a kiosk, verify exam upload with them.

Don’t leave the exam area until you receive exam upload confirmation from at least one, preferably two sources:

• “Green screen” in Examplify confirming exam was successfully uploaded
• Email from Examsoft confirming successful upload
• Confirming with LawIT kiosk that exam upload is showing up in Examsoft

Troubleshooting

The status of the Examsoft service can be viewed on the ExamSoft Status Page.

Verify your login:

• Log onto the NetID systems to verify your NetID username & password.
  • https://www.umt.edu/my (link in the upper-right)
  • http://login.umt.edu
    • Forgot your credentials? Use the “What is my NetID?” / “I don’t know my password!” links on the login page.
• Log into the Examsoft portal to verify your NetID login is working with Examsoft.
• Download & install the latest version of Examplify from the Examsoft portal.
