Official Policy On Student Responsibility with Examplify™

Quizzes
1. Check course syllabi for any specific instructions as to how the faculty will implement Examplify for their purpose.

2. Download all quizzes available to you prior to class. It is your responsibility to run the “Official SDM Practice Test” and take care of technical troubleshooting issues with ExamSoft customer support  BEFORE coming to a quiz.

3. Faculty will provide any specific instructions, and direct you when to begin. Close your laptop after you have uploaded the quiz and receive the green “congratulations” screen. No talking until all computers are closed, the faculty call the end of the quiz and resume class.

Midterms and Final Exams

Before Exam Day
1.
You must come to a midterm and final having downloaded the exam. No downloads are permitted at the exam. Select each item available to you in Examplify and choose download.

2.
It is your responsibility to run the “Official SDM Practice Test” and take care of technical troubleshooting issues through ExamSoft customer service in advance (support@examsoft.com or (866) 429-8889). The password for the practice test is PRACTIC3

3.
If there is a computer problem, it is your responsibility to address that issue before coming to the exam, including securing a loaner replacement computer and downloading the exam to that computer. If you get a loaner replacement computer but have already downloaded the exam/quiz to the broken computer, you will need to notify the faculty and request a second download of the exam to be placed on the loaner computer.

4.
Antivirus programs can sometimes interfere with Examplify due to their security features. You are advised to disable your antivirus program before using Examplify. We highly recommend you follow the University guidelines for antivirus programs. You can find information on the UBIT Software download page.  To further reduce conflicts and delays with Examplify start up when class is in session, we recommend students manually set virus scans in antivirus programs to occur after 5pm.

5.
It is your responsibility to review help documents https://support.examsoft.com/ and contact ExamSoft support to help resolve any problems prior to exam day at support@examsoft.com or (866) 429-8889 24 hours a day.
