Dear Students:  Welcome to the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine ExamSoft Portal. 

Please login using the username and password that was sent to you via email.  Please be sure to download Examplify to your PC or Mac. You will be sent a practice test to use.  Once you receive the practice test, please be sure to take the practice test so that you know that Examplify is working on your device.  The practice test will teach you how to navigate through and use all the Examplify features.  You can use the practice test multiple times and it is a good practice to navigate through it more than once.

Examplify can be used on most modern PC and Mac OS X based computers (i.e. purchased within the last 3-4 years). Please see specific system requirements as noted below.
Examplify cannot be used on virtual operating systems such as Microsoft's Virtual Machine, Parallels, VMware, VMware Fusion or any other virtual environments.

Windows Requirements:

• Operating System: 32-bit and 64-bit Versions of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
• Alternate versions of Windows 10, such as Windows RT, and Windows 10 S are NOT supported at this time.
• Only genuine versions of Windows Operating Systems are supported.
• The versions of Windows certified for use are Windows 10 22H2, Windows 11 23H2, Windows 11 24H2
  
• The English (United States) Language Pack must be installed.
  
• ExamSoft does not support tablet devices other than Surface Pro as detailed below.
• CPU Processor: Non-ARM based processor supported by your operating system. Intel 12 Gen processors have
  recently become available in laptops. Laptops with an Intel 12 Gen processor are currently not supported.
  
• RAM: 4GB of usable RAM or higher.
• Hard drive: 4GB or higher of available space.
• For on-site support, and in order to back up the answer files to a USB drive, a working USB port is required. (Newer devices may require an adaptor.)
  
• Internet connection for Examplify download, registration, exam download, upload and some exam feature.
• For technical troubleshooting, account passwords, including BitLocker keys, may be required.
• Screen resolution must be 1280x768 or highe.
• Examplify cannot be run within virtualized environments or environments that require persistent network (local or otherwise) connections during secure exams. This includes, but is not limited to, VMWare, Parallels, Citrix workspace, virtual disks, streamed images, etc.
  

Surface Pro minimum system requirements:

• Surface Pro, Surface Books, and Surface Laptop devices are supported (Non-pro Surface devices are NOT supported)
• Must be running a supported Operating System (See PC Requirements above)
• An external keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) is required.
• Bluetooth keyboards must be paired prior to launching exam
• Hard Drive: 1GB or higher available space
• For onsite support, a working USB port is required (newer devices may require an adaptor)
• Internet connection for Examplify download, registration, exam download and upload
• Screen resolution must be 1920x1080

Mac Requirements:

• Operating system: Mac OS Ventura, Sonoma or Sequoia
  
• CPU: Intel or M series processor
  
• RAM: 4 GB or higher
• Hard drive: 4 GB or higher of free disk space
• For on-site support, a working USB port is required (newer devices may require an adapter)
• For technical troubleshooting, account passwords, including device passwords, may be required
• Administrator level account permissions (Click here for instructions)
• Internet connection for Examplify download, registration, exam download and upload
• For technical troubleshooting, account passwords, including device passwords, may be required
• Server versions of Mac OS X is not supported
• Screen Resolution must be 1280 x 768 or higher
