Exams will be take home unless specified otherwise. You will be using a word processor to take the exams. Your Student ID is your CWID without the A and the password is the last 6 digits of your CWID. For detailed guide on the exam taking process click here.
Exam Downloads: Once you download the exam, your time begins and you must complete the exam in the time allotted. A 5 minute administrative buffer for uploading exam is provided.
Fixed Exams:
Selected courses will have fixed exams. The date and time are listed on your Exam Schedule in Web for Students.
These exams must be taken at the time indicated in your exam schedule.
Self-Scheduled Exams:
Self-Scheduled exams can be taken at any time during the Examination Period. You will choose the date and time that you wish to take the exam. You do not need to preschedule the exam time.
All students must abide by the rules stated in each exam; this includes the time of the exam (number of hours) as well as the items that you are allowed to use during an exam.
Take Home Exams:
For 24-hour or other time-limited take-home exams, your download time will be recorded and compared against your upload time. You can take these exams anytime during the exam period.
Minimum System Requirements:
Windows: Windows 10/11 64-bit (not S-mode), non-ARM processor,english language pack, 4GB RAM, 4GB space, administrator-level permissions
Mac: Big Sur, Monterey, or Ventura (no virtual machine) 4GB RAM, 4GB space, administrator-level permissions

The support team will be available to assist with technical issues as follows:
Mon-Fri 8:30am to 10pm (Remote and Onsite)
Sat-Sun 8:30am to 7pm (Remote only no Onsite support)
