Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy uses computerized exam system called Examsoft. With this program we will be administering our class exams on your laptop so that you get more practice in taking computerized exams (such as board exams, PCOA). In order to take your exam with this system you have to download a program onto your computer that enables you to take the exam. This program is called Examplify.
Examplify is an assessment program that allows you to securely take exams downloaded to your laptop. It disables access to files, programs, internet during an exam. You will download your exam prior to the exam day and upload your answer after the exam via internet. You will not require internet connectivity during your exam. However you will require internet to download exams and upload your answers.
In order to get started you will have to follow a few steps below to install and set up the Examplify program. After you have done this once, you will NOT need to do this step again you will just download an exam and take your test.
*Note about FireWall & Virus Programs- If your computer contains a personal firewall (e.g. Norton Personal Firewall, McAfee Personal Firewall, Zone Alarm, webroot, etc), you should instruct your personal firewall to treat www.examsoft.com as a trusted website. If unsure how to do so, please see your manufacturer's instructions. It is also good practice to disable your anti-virus software prior to the exam.
Examplify can be used on most modern Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X based computers (i.e. purchased within the last 3-4 years).
Examplify cannot be used on virtual operating systems such as Microsoft's Virtual Machine, Parallels, VMware, VMware Fusion or any other virtual environments.
