This is the University of Massachusetts School of Law's ExamSoft Home Page, where you will log in to download your testing software (Examplify), visit demonstration videos, and/or find support information.
Refer to the "UMass Law Students: Welcome to ExamSoft!" email for your ExamSoft login information and to reset your password.
IMPORTANT: Blind ID - enter in your 4-digit Blind ID in the "Exam Number" field at the start of exams above the password field.

Exam Taker Tips:
Take the Practice Test the day before each exam to anticipate any tech issues.
Do not update your computer to any new operating system before the OS is certified as compatible with Examplify.
System Requirements
Please review system requirements for Windows and MacOS at the top of this screen.
Chromebooks, iPads, and other tablet devices are not supported for UMass Law exams OR for the Bar Exam.
Instructions for downloading and registering Examplify:
Enter your Student ID and password under Exam Takers.
You will be taken to the Examplify download page. Click Download and follow the instructions to install the application.
When prompted for an Institution ID, type umlaw and choose University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School of Law (umlaw).
After Examplify launches, test how your computer functions in the secure exam mode. Download and take the Practice Test.
In the "Ready for Download" section, select Practice Exam 2025-2026 and click Download Exam.
Enter the exam password: MockExam25-26
Take the test and hit Submit once you're finished.
You've successfully taken the exam when you see the green confirmation screen confirming your answer key was uploaded.
